The smell of mesquite and live music will waft over the Nicholson Carnival Grounds in Nicholson, Wyoming County on Oct. 5, and you’re invited.  United Way agencies from the region will receive the rewards – with every dollar raised matched by Williams.

Our folks are organizing the inaugural Marcellus Barbecue Cook-Off and teams from the area will compete for best pork rib, pulled pork or beef brisket barbecue.

If you aren’t yet ready to test your skills at barbecuing, wrangle up four of your friends to form a team of four judges to sample early in the day, or buy a ticket and join us at 4 p.m. to vote for your favorite in the People’s Choice competition.

Thousands of neighbors served by United Way agencies in Susquehanna County, Wyoming County, Wyoming Valley and Broome County, N.Y., will benefit from this fun family event.

Whether you plan to cook or to taste the barbecue, click here to find out more about the event, read the cook-off rules, and learn how and where to buy tickets and to register your team.

Barbecue lovers should join in the fun early – Only 400 tickets are available.
